The Challenge
Live streamers struggle to engage with fast-moving chats while simultaneously managing OBS software, handling donations, and focusing on gameplay.
Discovery & Research
We identified that automating chat moderation and OBS scene switching through natural language AI would dramatically reduce streamer cognitive load. Analyzed existing bot solutions which were command-based and robotic. Streamers wanted a conversational, intelligent 'co-host'.
Design & UX
Designed a sleek, dark-mode dashboard for configuring the AI personality and linking OBS WebSockets effortlessly. Built a modern interface focusing on ease of use, utilizing intuitive toggles and clean data visualization for AI features.
Development & Performance
Developed a full-stack web application integrating AI for chat responses and direct OBS WebSocket communication. Optimized WebSocket connections to ensure zero latency between chat events and OBS scene transitions.
